First aid training
Lethbridge First Aid has standard first aid training programs that run for 14-16 hours over a span of two days. Schedules for first aid programs are available throughout the week, even during evenings and weekends. First aid programs for standard / intermediate, emergency / basic, marine, and babysitting. All first aid classes include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (AED) and automated external defibrillation (AED).
Stand-alone CPR/AED classes
CPR-only classes are also available. Levels A and C are targeted for first time trainees. Level A is about adult victims and situations/injuries that require CPR/AED and first aid. Level C is similar, but includes pediatric victims and the difference in pediatric CPR/AED and first aid. Level HCP is targeted at health care providers.
St Mark James certification
Wallet-sized certificate cards are available once a student passes his or her enrolled program. Bigger, wall-mount certificates can be requested. All certificates expire after three years so students need to take a recertification program before they do.
Standard first aid recertification programs are available throughout the week as well. They last 8 hours, inclusive of CPR C recertification.
